Very nice little place, if quasi-gentrified palm beach is your thing. The service was half-"butted", my boyfriend and I went for lunch about 25 dollars for 2 drinks, they did not even offer him or I water. A Saturday morning, the restaurant was empty, why was our service so poor with what appeared as the owner and his son going in and out of the restaurant ? They were aware that our food took a while and that with only one other party in the restaurant, and for a 53 dollar lunch tab, that was ridiculous. The food, mehh sub-par. I could get that burger at a Flanigans for half the price. My boyfriends Chipotle Mahi "Quasadilla" he had to coat it in Salsa to get some flavor. To top it off to pay our check, luckily our cook came out to charge us. I have seldom taken the time to do this, but you know what it was poorly poorly done. OWNERS YOU COULD GET YOUR FAT BEHINDS UP AND HELP YOUR SHORT STAFFED, WANNABE "WINE BAR RESTAURANT" and EMPLOYEES OUT PERHAPS YOU WOULDNT HAVE ANGERED PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. THANKS.

I was excited to try somewhere new for Brunch and after seeing pictures of the bloody Mary's we decided to give it a try. Cute location, a little unorganized on the inside for me but that's just my taste. Our table was right up front and although the live music was a nice touch it was so loud we could barely have a conversation.... Which we had to have a lot of because it took 45 minutes for our food to come. Way too long! Waitress was not great at stopping by to refill our drinks. We definitely would have ordered more alcohol had she checked on us. Food was ok, I had the crab crake Benedict which was very salty. I thought she said it came with potatoes but there were 2 pieces of bacon on the plate. Would have checked with her but she came back so much later and we were starving so we ate fast. Nice mixed crowd and seemed like their were a lot of regulars there.

Went here for lunch. It wasn't busy at all but our waitress was wonderful. The food was wonderful. I had salmon over creamy polenta and Keith had roasted vegetable tacos which were the bomb. I would have given the place 5 stars but we thought the decor was weird and the bathroom was really not up to snuff. I know it sounds weird, but come on guys, make sure the light fixture has all the bulbs in it and make sure that they match

I like the ambiance of this restaurant and this is first time i have eaten here. I ordered the 14oz pork chops with sautéed spinach and mash potatoes. My pork chop was dry and bland, however the mash was perfect. My date ordered the 20oz prime rib medium rare which was also bland. The house cabernet and Pinot Grigio was on point. One of the biggest problems for me was the singer who was too loud for the dinner crowd. Also the service was lacking.

This place is awesome! As their first time referrals, my wife and I had a pleasant time. The service was on point! A++++ food!! Highly recommend. OBO is fancy and a laid back spot, perfect for romantic dates!

So bummed, we were there today at 11:00 and you weren't open really ready for a Bloody Mary

This place has good decor, good atmosphere, and good service. The menu itself is good but the cooking is not as good as the prices suggest. I really liked how they have a steak and cheese sandwich and refrain from calling it a philly cheese. Restaurants who do this are almost always lying so I gotta give them credit there. The sandwich just didn't have enough flavor, had to add salt and pepper myself to taste anything. They need to hire a real chef or stop charging $12 for a $8 sandwich. The salad with chicken my partner got was $18, I love expensive food but it just did not have the refinement I expect at that price.

Well...mmmmmm...not a happy guest....first try and was a bit underwhelmed....wanted to LOVE it....the double charge for a refill on $3 iced tea......with no disclosure.....was off putting.......been in the biz for 20+ years...first time for that one... and then $15 for 5-51/60 shrimp with cheese grits......while flavorful....not quite reasonable.....if the desire is to bring Old Northwood Business District back.....need to work on perceived value.....I'll try y'all again.....really wanna love this neighborhood!!!!...the service was good.....a bit unfocused .....or very focused if you were at the table of 10 regulars....every server was there.....hugging and laughing.....I get it......but didn't feel like I received the 22% grat I left.....it would have been 35% if not for the iced tea and the lack of focus....the entertainment was talented yet extremely loud.. . ..even people driving by rolled up their windows....like I said.....I'll be back with a large group as many of my foodie friends want to try O-BO.....hope it is better as this group will 'read'.

Over priced food. Very bland. All the silverware looks super old and unclean. Only 3 tables being occupied, but had really loud gospel music blaring.

I do not recommend coming in before noon. Even though they open at 11:00 am, we got here at 11:10 am and they almost wouldn't let us sit because they said "we aren't quite open but if you don't mind us setting up you're welcome to sit." It is now almost noon and they are still setting up for the day so needless to say our server is a little preoccupied with matters other than serving us.

I had the Samoa cheesecake (delicious!!!!!), shrimp and grits with crumbled bacon, and the Disco fries. The atmosphere is quiet and very intimate with soft music playing. Raven and Jeff are the best. Jeff always greets us with a hug and warm and welcome smile. I eat here at least three times a month...

This is a great find. Had an amazing meal here or should I say experience last night for NYE. I was very shocked to see how many ppl didn't show up for their reservations. Shame on you all!!!!! Call to cancel don't just no show. You took a reservation away from other people who would have enjoyed this restaurant since the city was all booked... But back to this restaurant. A must see, go to, eat at... Food was superb. Service amazing. Raven our server was awesome. Jeff the owner was great. Very hands on. All the staff was friendly and present and willing to make your experience the best it could be. I will go back again and again. We had crispy Brussels sprouts, crab cakes, salad, mushroom soup, French onion soup, Asian disco fries, filet, salmon, and a trio of desserts... All were amazing.. So flavorful and mouth watering... Can't say anything was bland or unsatisfactory. Prices are reasonable. Drink menu is limited but they have some good wines and specialty drinks. They don't have a full bar but what they offered was ok by me. Loved their strawberry spritzer. Refreshing. If you are ever in the Norwood village area make sure you stop for a bite to eat... You won't be disappointed.

This place was suggested by a friend! The ambiance is a mix of eclectic art and beautiful decor from different eras. I especially love the outside seating. The food is out of this world and presented so nicely. I had the lampchops, risotto, with a green pea purée. It's nestled in the heart of Northwood and it's great place for drinks or dinner! Brunch is rumored to be spectacular! Worth the trip! You will not be disappointed!

This wss such a treat. We stumbled on this comfy gem for lunch. We ordered the short rib sandwich and a burger. This wss no regular burger. It was prepared just right. .. quality meat. .. great presentation for both plates. We can't wait to go back. The atmosphere is creative and eclectic but really comfortable. Bravo! The staff was so personable. This is a great place for the not so snobby foodie.

The previous reviews were great so we decided to try it for dinner and drinks! Womp womp. The wine was decent but the floors and entire restaurant looked like it needed a Clorox wipe... So we decided to go someplace else.

Stopped at O-BO last weekend while home, could not be happier. Having driven by this place before but never heard first hand from anyone eating there I wasn't sure what to expect. The food was delicious, I ordered the sliders, which had this amazing mustard based sauce that was to die for. Food presentation was wonderful, service excellent and quality far above the price, will definitely be back! Also went to an event which they catered, was absolutely spectacular, if you're in need of a cater in the West Palm Beach area you will not find a better value for your dollar than with these guys here.

Fantastic ambiance, great service, and delicious food. The culinary creations are superb; perfectly presented and plated. A lot of care was taken to ensure the customer experience was unique, relaxing and inviting. Our waiter John's informative and educated explanations made our menu decision a breeze on one hand and difficult on the next due to their extraordinary and well thought out menu. The service was phenomenal and personal making us feel like regulars. This is a great place for young couples and groups to congregate and enjoy a relaxed sophisticated environment away from the insanity of downtown West Palm Beach. Highly Recommended!!

Waitress was spunky and had a lot of general knowledge about the restaurant and what they were trying to deliver. Fresh ingredients, art from the antique store down the street that the owner also owns, beer and wine with specialty cocktails. I had a scallop and grilled pork belly appetizer, flavor was delicious and portion was definitely reasonable for an appetizer of $22. I was so excited to try my entree, the waitress and owners girlfriend recommended it to me. When my 'hanger steak marinated in citrus over polenta with shrimp' as advertised on the menu came out I literally wanted to cry. Never have I been so disappointed in the appearance of an entree probably in my entire life. I'm not sure if it was that I was, call me crazy, expecting a 6 or 8oz piece of steak for $36 or that I was actually hungry when I came to dinner... But laid in front of me was 4 measly 1inch pieces of steak with 3 small shrimp over a polenta. I understand grass fed beef, local greens, organic chicken, and serving the best quality food, but where was my steak??? Tears actually came to my eyes, because I have heard such amazing things about this place, and yes it tasted good, but after spending $60 on food for one person and leaving hungry, sadly this is my first and last experience here. I'm a foodie, and if you are too then come here with a group of people with deep pockets and share the entire menu, otherwise don't waste your time.

Very unique spot with great food. Made a reservation on valentine's day and ended up waiting an hour for a table and played musical chairs a couple times, but it's one of the busiest nights of the year and the entire staff was very accomodating, offering us a complimentary beverage and the chance to sit and watch the live music from a small area off to the side. The menu was eclectic and everything was delicious!

What can I say, another restaurant with Northwood syndrome. At least this one has great service. Severely overpriced and pedestrian at best. Risotto was over-done (mushy), mahi tacos were over-salted, shrimp and grits were average. Facebook page claims "exotic wines & beers" yet the beer list was Stella, Coors Light, Heineken, Yuengling, and the most exotic of the bunch Fat tire. $80 with tip for half an app, three small plates and a beer. As with just about every where else in Northwood, not worth the trip. The best part was the live singer they had, according to my wife a bit pitchy but overall very enjoyable.

On our 8th night in WBP we finally made it here for dinner in the up and coming Northwood neighborhood. Love this area. Away from the touristy spots. We had the best ever Mediterranean chopped salad. We followed the salad with the pork chop and braised short rib entrées both cooked to perfection. The sautéed spinach was fresh and delicious. I could go on. Ended the meal with the freshly baked flourless chocolate hazelnut cake. Even the whipped cream was heavenly. Staff were attentive and clearly proud to be working in a great place. Vibe is bluesy/jazz. Romantic lighting. Bonus is live music perfect for the atmosphere. Best meal out during this stay in the area.

Beautiful restaurant, great service, not so great food. Have been very excited about trying this new spot after hearing amazing reviews. However, the meal was a total letdown. We started with two apps and decided to go no further after trying both. The crispy pork belly was overly dry. The accompanying sauce was delish but the asian app was prepared as if it was supposed to be chicharrón. It didn't work. The second app which was supposed to be Asian sticky buns were actually just buns. The filling was good but the buns were old, hard and stale. Maybe it was just an off night but I'm not sure I'll be back to try it again.

Wanting to avoid the better known commercial areas on a holiday weekend I suggested O-Bo to friends. This is a little gem and I hope when it blows up, we'll still be able to get seated. The 4 of us were very pleased with the live music, atmosphere and food. The restaurant occupies the old Jade location on Northwood down the block from the overrated bustling Cafe Centro. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The music was excellent and enabled us to have pleasant dinner conversation also. We skipped appetizers except for some simple edamame. The lobster ravioli was amazing prepared in an alfredo sauce. I think previous bad reviews of this dish was due to previous preparation in a pink sauce. The tomato might have overpowered the subtle flavor of the lobster. Two of us found this newer preparation delicious. A side dish of gently cooked fresh string beans was wonderful. Our burger lover gave his burger a big thumbs up and the waffle fries were better than most. My husband was disappointed with the pasta bolognese, but I thought it was great. He's used to chopped rather than chunks of meat in the sauce. I have to admit the meat seemed a little dry, perhaps overcooked, but the overall dish was old world delicious. The jewel in the crown was the dutch apple pie drizzled with a cinnamon sauce and served with vanilla ice cream with a bourbon caramel topping. We will definitely be returning. Looking forward to tasting the other items on the menu. Suggestion: complimentary lentils, brushcetta or something similar to tide over hungry patrons. This would be a nice touch. We received a small basket of complimentary bread when requested, but a request shouldn't be necessary. Note: This newer restaurant has been closed on Sundays and Mondays. We were told that the Northwood neighborhood is too quiet on Sundays to merit opening. Perhaps in time that will change.

We stopped in for dinner while taking a break from visiting an ill family member at nearby Good Sam Med Center. We were offered the chefs table, a nice large table for 4 located near the entrance (and kitchen) and adjacent to the lovely jazz singer and her pianist. We were offered complementary apps and told to expect special experience. Indeed we were waited in expertly by our waiter, the pastry chef and even the owner. The food was very good, perhaps a half step below amazing. Worth the visit.

What a find! We had never been here before, so we thought we'd give it a try. Four of us went last night in the pouring rain. As we pulled up, we were greeted with someone with an umbrella to escort us in, so we wouldn't get wet. How nice is that? And unusual! We decided to order several dishes to share, instead of ordering seperate entrees. It ended up being a great idea. Don't pass up the mushroom flatbread! Absolutely delicious. I've had many a flatbread, but this one had a very unique flavor. The chef is very creative with his blending of different foods and flavors. The spring rolls were to die for. The beef sliders were great. The beef is cooked to perfection and the roll has just the right amount of crunch to it. We shared 4 desserts. Our favorite was the chocolate creme brûlée. I'm a creme brûlée snob, so I was a little apprehensive about the chocolate. But wow, I was wrong. Definitely worth it! Service was fabulous. From the moment we walked in, they let us know that our business was appreciated. Everyone was friendly and professional. A super bonus was the music. A man with a voice as smooth as Lou Rawls, walked around and sang. The music wasn't too loud that it interrupted our conversation. It was delightful. O-Bo is definitely a restaurant find. I can't wait to go back!

Had a 8+ group of office friends for Friday night dinner, pre-bars. The owners greeted us at the door and there was a live jazz singer performing that evening, with the music pouring down the street to the benefit of the artsy block. Great food - ordered the large hangar steak and the disco fries. Our table ordered a few different appetizers and desserts all of which were presented in a creative way. OBO is leading the Northwood restaurant scene, will definitely be back

Wow what a hidden gem! We parked in front of this restaurant and ate ACROSS the street at another restaurant. As we got out of our cars, a very nice hostess greeted us and invited us to enjoy their great drink specials. We declined as we had our heart set on a different restaurant. After eating a so-so dinner at the other place, we decided to have a drink here at O-Bo. We immediately regretted our decision not to dine here. What a gorgeous restaurant! The owner, Jeffrey, greeted us outside and offered us a reverse happy hour. We explained we had already eaten but had saved room for dessert. All of the desserts are made in house and his favorite is their Dutch Apple pie, which is expertly made by his Dutch girlfriend --- SOLD! My hubby and I each enjoyed a cocktail and devoured the pie. It was delicious. The crust was buttery and flaky. So yummy. We really wish we ate dinner here. The menu looked fantastic and it was reasonably priced. We observed several dishes come out to other tables and they looked amazing and the attention to detail in the presentation was top notch. Service was A+. There were tons of candles lit. The second one burned out, someone came to replace it. Love it! I can't wait to come back and enjoy this place the right way. It is trendy and had great music playing. Fun to enjoy with another couple. Relaxed but trendy-dressed patrons.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
